From the Autostrada del Sole, step by step
- Leave the A1 at Arezzo (from Florence/Bologna or from Rome).
- After the toll booth, follow signs to San Giuliano / Le Poggiola: about 4.4 km on local roads, no need to cross the city.

Getting around
For central Arezzo, drive to the park-and-ride car parks and walk or take the escalators: the old town has a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). For Cortona, Siena, Florence and the Val d'Orcia you rejoin the A1 or the Siena-Bettolle road without going through town.
